About

Sahra Stolz

born 1970 Melbourne

Sahra grew up in Melbourne, Australia. Drawing was an early passion and one which has remained the cornerstone of her art and architecture practice.

After gaining a BA in Fine Art (Printmaking) at the Victorian College of the Arts, Sahra went on to complete a diploma in Public Art at RMIT. With a prestigious client list including architects Hayball and the City of Melbourne, Sahra oversaw the successful delivery of public art commissions and continues to tender for projects and opportunities in Melbourne.

Sahra's considered, cross-disciplinary approach combines design and communication skills with accuracy and resourcefulness in technical specification, construction processes and budget management at a variety of scales.

Sahra graduated in November 2013 with a Masters degree in Architecture (first class honours) from the University of Melbourne. With careers in fine art, public art and architecture, Sahra is uniquely placed to explore opportunities for collaboration between artists and architects.
